Baffled Lidl shoppers jump out of path as cow loads in parking lot
A runaway cow caused a commotion at a Lidl store when it loaded through the parking lot – causing people to jump back and forth.
A bizarre video, recorded at the Lidl store in Royton, Oldham on Monday, April 26, shows the animal walking past parked cars and bewildered shoppers, Manchester Evening News reports.
Posting the clip online, Chadderton comedian Steve Shanyaski wrote: “There’s a cow running around Lidl’s parking lot in Royton.
“That’s it. Life couldn’t be more bizarre so everything is going to get better from now on.”
In the clip, a man dressed in red attempts to grab the cow before hurriedly jumping as she runs towards him.
Steve added, “People were starting to approach it, which I thought was a terrible idea.
“This guy tried to grab it, but when he came up to him he completely bottled it.
“He literally forgot everything we were ever taught about bulls and wearing red.”
“There was a cow literally running around trying to get into the garage where they were delivering food,” he continued.
“It would have been a completely different video if he had entered the Lidl!”
Steve said he was sent photos of the cow outside of neighboring houses, but was trying to figure out the mystery of the origin of the cattle.
“All I can think of is where did that cow come from?” he said.
“If you had a map, you wouldn’t be able to find a single place nearby where a cow could have come from.
“It’ll be one of those things I’ll think about on my deathbed.”
“On my last breath, I will say to my grandchildren, ‘I don’t know where this cow came from.’
“The kids will just look at each other and say, ‘I have no idea what he means.'”
It is believed that the cow has since been safely returned to its owner.
