Lambeau field vaccination site moves to the south side of the stadium
The community COVID-19 vaccination site at Lambeau Field will make a brief move starting Monday, May 10, moving into the Terrace Suites on Level 5 on the south side of the stadium as the important ball-catching work in the guns continues.
A joint effort of Bellin Health, Brown County Public Health and the Green Bay Packers, the clinic opened in the Lambeau Field atrium on March 17. The move is made to accommodate other events planned for the Atrium space as spring passes into summer. The new location will allow individuals to receive their vaccine with a view, as the Terrace Suites overlook Lambeau Field and the Seating Bowl.
“The Atrium has served us well and the Terrace Suites space will continue to provide everything we need for large-scale vaccination to end this pandemic,” said Sherry LaFond of Bellin, one of the two. operational managers of the Lambeau Field site. “We are very grateful for this partnership, which has enabled us to immunize over 32,000 people at Lambeau Field to date. As we like to say, we are sacking COVID – one shot at a time.
Lambeau Field provides a centralized, well-known and accessible location for a community vaccination site to serve Brown County and surrounding areas, and the stadium’s flexible event spaces can be adjusted as needed to allow vaccine distribution. Lambeau Field is one of 17 NFL facilities that are used as vaccination sites across the country. To date, more than 2 million shots of COVID-19 have been administered at NFL sites.
People do not need to be Bellin Health patients to be vaccinated at Lambeau Field, and walk-ins are welcome. Appointments can be made through MyBellinHealth.org or by calling (920) 445-7313.
Vaccinations will be given in the Terrace Suites on level 5 on the south side of the stadium, with signage to help with orientation and social distancing. Individuals should park in the grassy area of Lot 9 next to Valley View Road, on the southwest side of Lambeau Field. (Parking spaces in front of the south gate will be reserved for people with disabled parking needs and those aged 65 and over.) Those arriving for vaccinations should enter through the south gate and proceed to the fifth floor via the elevators. Remember this masks are mandatory at all times. After receiving their vaccine, people will have to wait 15 minutes for monitoring before leaving. Wheelchair assistance is available for people with mobility issues.
The Lambeau Field vaccination site will be closed on Sunday, May 9 to allow for the move. When it reopens on Monday, May 10, the new hours will be as follows:
- 7 am-5pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- 7 am-7pm Tuesdays and Thursdays
- 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday
- Close on Sunday
