Mumbai: 150 vaccinated at Worli NSCI on day 1 | Mumbai News
MUMBAI: On the first day of the vaccination campaign which began on Sunday in the parking lot of the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Worli, 150 people received the vaccine.
City officials said although the NSCI parking lot can accommodate more vehicles, only half of the same space is used, with the other half being left vacant to ask beneficiaries who have received the vaccine to wait half an hour. in the event of an adverse event following vaccination (AEFI).
“All the doses available for the center have been administered,” said Sharad Ughade, deputy municipal commissioner BMC G southern district.
Vaccination campaigns in Mumbai are launched in particular for the benefit of the immobile elderly and specially disabled citizens.
